Everyone who comes to Bukovina, is astounded by the colors depth - verdure of the Carpathians, blue of the fast-moving waters of the Cheremosh, the Dniester and the Prut rivers, the brightness of the sun.

That's probably why it's not surprising that all these colors are reflected in the products of the close corporation Chernivtsi Himzavod, that are being used in the enterprises of automaking, autorepairing, car-building, furniture, construction, chemical, electronic, electrical areas of industry, at the nuclear and hydroelectric power stations as well as in agriculture. The main activity categories of the close corporation Chernivtsi Himzavod are manufacturing of paintwork materials, filter stock, production for car maintenance and auxiliary materials, wholesale and retail trade, construction of the buildings, motor freight transportation.

The enterprise is unique in its manufacture and range of goods policy.

The plant produces not only polyurethane, acryl, acrylate enamels and paints, varnish, adhesives for construction and repair work, drying oil, means for removing old lacquer coatings, means for bioprotection of the timber, but also car maintenance materials: mastic, filler, primer-sealer, base-coating, dissolvent, cooling liquids (Tosol), quick-drying enamels for auto-, agricultural and railway transport.

The close corporation also manufactures flame-retardant pastes for hardware and high-voltage cables, spreads and mastic for specialappliances, polishing pastes for the furniture, filter elements for filtering paintwork materials, oil products and other liquids, except liquids for food industry, insulating spreads for manufacturing and repair of the magnetic coils, that are used in the machine-building and metallurgy.

At the close corporation highly-professional staff is formed, favorable conditions for professional self-improvement are created, social problems are being successfully solved. Permanent sponsor aid is being given to infant and secondary schools, hospitals, geriatric boarding houses, veterans of labor, war veterans and disabled veterans. Every year over 120 thousand grivnas is given to these charitable activities.
